I'ts not often one finds success in their career and is able to say that it is their consuming passion as well. Stephanie Souvlis trained in London in the mid 80’s and then embarked on a career as a working chef. These were Stephanie's formative years and since the early 90’s Stephanie has been working as a food stylist, food writer and editor. She has travelled extensively which broadened her palate and set aflame her gusto for food and, upon her return to Australia, embark on her own business.  Stephanie undertook formal education in Food Technology at University to solidify and enhance her vocational experiences. It is the combination of her extensive knowledge of world food, her European background and her education that is responsible for where she is today.

 

Stephanie is now working freelance having finished a 5 year role as Food Editor of  Australian Table Magazine. Stephanie works in a variety of  capacities ; she styles for food and lifestyle magazines, writes and develops

 


recipes for magazines and books and writes food and travel stories for many leading magazines, publishers and newspapers.

 

Her list of many clients include Australian Gourmet Traveller, Australian Table Magazine, Australian Good Taste, Fresh, Super Food Ideas, New Idea, Country Looks and Country Style Magazines and The Good Weekend (Sydney Morning Herald). Her work is featured in books  by leading Australian publishers  such as ACP Books, Hodder Publishing, Murdoch Publishing, Lansdowne, R & R Publishing, Penguin  Books and Weight Watchers.
